Academic Excellency

One of Sigma Theta Pi’s founding principles is sound learning. Members constantly strive to further their intellectual development throughout their lives.

Most chapters ask their members to adhere to certain academic standards in order to maintain a good standing within the chapter.

Most of life’s lessons take place outside of the classroom and it is with this in mind that we enlist the help of our alumni members to guide our youngest through their time in college and beyond.

The Fraternity’s continued encouragement of academic excellence is prevalent in the programs, conferences, and resources offered to all members.

Our commitment in this sense can be illustrated by the fact that we give, the prize Phylo of Byblos Academic Excellence.

This award aims to encourage academic success and maintain the value of the fraternity. We urge our members to Go far in their academic endeavors.
