Traditions

Being a fraternity that wishes to withstand the test of time, our organisation makes sure that our values, traditions, beliefs and philosophies are handed down from generation to generation of students, in the hopes that one day, the values that helped build our structure, are still present and as important as they are today.

Our traditions, which our young members learn about gradually, help them concieve the fraternity as a tower of building blocks, which needs constant maintanance and attention if it is to withstand the test of time, something only achievable by working together.

An example of our traditions is the 42's ball which is held once a year. The 42's Ball is Sigma Theta Pi's most important social event, which includes the giving of many prestigious awards including the nomination of the fraternity's Sweetheart. It is a formal gathering, in which all members, pledges, alumni's and respected friends are invited.
