COLONY BY AFFILIATION
A colony is an intermediate status on the International Fraternity. It is designed especially for local fraternities, small national and international fraternities, and for european fraternity-like organizations.
This status protects the indepandance of the joining fraternity, and its name. The colony is incorporated in the social and professional network of our International Fraternity. In return, after the name of the colony, and in the logo, we add the motion « ΣΘΠ Colony », and/or the two parties engage themselves in communicating about this partnership.

COLONY BY COLONIZATION
Colonization, or re-colonization, is the process of transforming a non-ΣΘΠ fraternity into an ΣΘΠ chapter(s).
It is designed especially for local fraternities, small national and international fraternities, and for european fraternity-like organizations.
We do have experience in the matter, our third chapter (Gamma-Lugdunum), in Lyon, France, has already gone through the colonization process.
This status gives the opportunity of joining chapter(s) to join an International and very active Fraternity: Sigma Theta Pi is one of the easiest fraternities to open a chapter in all the greek community due to our different system of organization. A chapter is like a franchise, with a lot of liberty in is work.
PROCEDURE
Sigma Theta Pi has known a great deal of success over the past couple of years, if you want information about colonization.
