Êta – Dijon

Chapter Divio

This chapter was created in October 2010 by two students from the university of Bourgogne. Doing so, they joined Sigma Theta Pi's family, to create a chapter in the beautiful city that is Dijon.

With its rich historical and architectural past, Dijon is one of the must-see tourist destinations, boasting its uniqueness as well as its gastronomic reputation. It is also a "green" city with a lot of its region being constituted by tertiary sector lands. It is a city with many schools, universities and is regarded as a center for the judicial and administrative fields which makes Dijon unique in her traditions and culture. Dijon is also a regional economic center with a very traditional food industry ( Moutarde de Dijon, crème de cassis de Dijon et Kir, pain d'épices, chocolat Lanvin…).

The University of Bourgogne, is one of the oldest universities in France and has no less than 6 cities that are attached to her in the whole of Burgundy. With its many university formations, education there is assured by three different components: the UFRs, the "Ecoles" and the "Instituts". The students and members of chapter Eta- Divio, can evolve in an environment ideal for studying but also in an ambiance of partying because the folklore of students is very present on campus.
